BeltLine Pace Run ClubOption A

Hackologists picked Option A. This cover is for judging. The club site starts at Home. Say the option out loud before the walkthrough.

What we picked

Option
A, BeltLine Pace Run Club
Main visitor
Nervous first timer
Goal
Get first timers to show up. Primary action: Join a Run.
Also served
Regular runners use Weekly runs for times and starts. Local partners use Partners for the three prices and the email.
Look
Energetic, welcoming, and a little cheeky. Big type, wide space, real photos of people running.

Why this option

A nervous first timer needs one obvious next step, a clear answer on price, and proof that a slow pace still belongs. The packet also disagrees with itself in ways a team can defend. That is the work.

Three minute walkthrough

Split the lines across the team. Start by naming Option A.

  1. 0:00

    Anyone

We picked Option A, BeltLine Pace Run Club. The main visitor is a nervous first timer. The goal is to get them to show up.

  2. 0:20

    Design

Home leads with the tagline and Join a Run. Pace groups start with Walk, not Tempo. The dark strip under the hero gives regulars this week without a hunt.

  3. 0:50

    Research

Weekly runs copies the schedule. Saturday, October 17 lists two specials at the same time and place, on top of the weekly long run. Saturday, November 8 cannot share a year with the other Saturdays. Both stay as written, and both are in the decision log.

  4. 1:25

    Design

Join answers speed, cost, and what to bring in the FAQ wording. The pace picker only offers the four groups from the packet.

  5. 1:55

    Research

Partners shows Pacer $150, Mile Marker $400, and Title Partner $900, the four leaders, and partners@beltlinepace.example. Gear shows the shirt at $25 and the hat at $18. The $20 from Jordan's email is logged and not shown as the price.

  6. 2:25

    Design

The design system holds the shared button, navigation, type, and colors. White on Sunrise Yellow fails the contrast rule, so the label is Asphalt. The live edit on that page changes the button color everywhere.

  7. 2:45

    Anyone

The decision log is the backup for questions. When the client update arrives, it goes into the shared facts and styles, not into five separate pages.
